Why licking helps calm them down?

Licking helps release tension.

That’s why many trainers and pet sitters recommend lick mats or licking toys during stressful moments.

This bowl just makes it cleaner, slower, and less messy.

This bowl is for

Ones that lick everything

Ones that chew and destroy things

Ones that can’t sit still

Will this really help with anxiety?

It can help.

Licking is a calming behavior for many pets. Giving them something to lick helps them focus and settle down, instead of pacing, chewing, or licking everything around them.

It’s not a cure — just a simple, calming outlet that many owners swear by.

How long does it keep them busy?

Most people get 10–30 minutes, depending on what you put inside.

Thicker mixes (like yogurt mixed with peanut butter or pumpkin) usually last longer.

Does it leak or spill?

No.

It’s designed to keep liquid treats contained — even if they try to flip it.

Way less mess than a normal bowl.

I hate the licking sound. Is it loud?

No.

This doesn’t make a loud or annoying sound like some lick mats or toys.

Most people say it’s quiet enough to use indoors without driving them crazy.

What can I put inside it?

People use:

  • Yogurt (thin it with water)
  • Bone broth
  • Pumpkin
  • Applesauce
  • Supplements mixed in

Smooth, thick liquids work best.

How easy is it to clean?

Very easy.

  • Comes apart fast
  • Rinses clean
  • Dishwasher safe

No scrubbing needed.

Is it safe?

Yes.

Made from premium, food-grade rubber that’s soft and safe to lick.

Always supervise the first few uses, especially if yours is extra curious.

This thing is GREAAT. It could be more slip resistant but honestly this is a step up by itself so I don't mind or will make accommodations. Get a Great Value tub of plain Greek yogurt and youre all set!

Great quality, a bit smaller that I thought it would be but it gets the job done and my dog loves it! Easy to clean and fill and works great.

Great for treats or to add supplements to their diet. I would recommend adding water to yogurt to the bowl because once the general area is used the yogurt doesn't move down to the ball. I used a bit of yogurt to try first a big hit! Then I used the chicken broth and she loved it. She was a bit upset when it was gone then she tried to bite at it lol. I would highly recommend!!

My dog and I both love this product. It definitely provides some stimulation and keeps her licking for at least 10 minutes. We only used it once. I need to experiment with different things to put in it. I'd like to come up with something a little bit thicker that would keep her licking a little longer than 10 minutes. I would definitely supervise in case they try to flip it over like my dog did. The ball could be a choking hazard if they get it apart. It's very easy to take apart and clean. I would love to see a larger size for bigger dogs.

4 y/o Border Collie loves to eat everything on the floor. This occupies her for about an hour per cup, we are trying different fillings to see what takes longer. Only improvement I want to see with this toy is to add a hard plastic ring to the inside above the ball. This would hold the ball in place to prevent a smart dog from pulling the ball through the opening and stealing the goods in the bowl

I can't say enough good things about this toy. My dog has chronic pain and nausea issues due to autoimmune illnesses, and with that, anxiety issues. She's picked up the habit of licking herself to self-soothe. Her licking becomes self-destructive though, and she licks until she's raw and then ends up with secondary infections that have almost cost her her leg at one time. The infection was so bad it ended up as a huge mass and took a year of antibiotics to get it under control. It was so hard on her and keeping her from licking was almost impossible. I used surgical suits, collars, vet wrap, everything, and she was on prozac and other meds to keep her calm. This toy has allowed her to stop licking herself. I have to cook all her food and so use bone broth I make for her to fill it a few times a day. She licks until she's happy and can calm herself down. She's off all the anxiety meds. It's been a huge help in her recovery.

Peoples who's dogs are able to open this are blessed and cursed with a smart dog cause mine hasn't figured that out yet, though she has tried flipping the bowl and it doesn't leak and make a mess which is nice 👍

Anyway my dog loves it and licks so dedicatedly.

What people say about not being able to just put in yogurt is true so I usually thin out whatever I make for her. Imagine smoothy viscosity and it should work just fine.

I WISH THEY MADE THIS IN A BIGGER SIZE!!! My dog gets through it so fast and I have to refill it too quickly. That's really my only complaint (would give 4.5 ⭐ cause of that one issue but will round up cause I'm really happy with this).

I needed something to entertain our 4 year old pitty mix and I ordered this to see if she responded to it at all. So far we've been giving her apple sauce, but it's like to try plain yogurt and maybe some peanut butter.

I have a 19 pound cockapoo that absolutely loves this bowl. We give as a treat when we are leaving and put low sodium chicken broth or drinkable yogurt in it and she LOVES!!! I’ve recommended to several pet parents.
